That's why we established Red Hot Momma's - to encourage people to stop thinking of menopause as a disease and to encourage women of middle-age to celebrate this exciting new phase in their lives.

OUR HISTORY

Red Hot Momma's, Cool Comfort for Hot Bodies was founded in 2005 by JoAnn Panzitta-Gigliotti out of great frustration. Not able to take HRT, JoAnn tried every vitamin and herb to ward off annoying hot flashes, but the only thing that worked was changing her clothes - literally, from all-cotton pajamas to a "Hot Mama" nightgown she read about in Good Housekeeping magazine.

An accomplished marketer and dedicated women's advocate, JoAnn spread the news of her discovery to friends and family. With research showing that 40 million baby boomer women are in or about to enter menopause, JoAnn decided the time was right to dedicate a store to this little talked-about phenomenon. And so, Red Hot Momma's was established, based on great passion for helping women -and others-who suffer from heat and hormones.
